Overview

Bestof (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how LAND MK 1, LLC handles information when you use Bestof to host, join, rank, and reveal group votes.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require an account to use Bestof.
• We do not collect, sell, or share personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or contacts.
• We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
• We do not use advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking.

2. Information Processed on Your Device

Vote titles, choices, rankings, nicknames, avatars, and vote history are processed on your device. Local votes are hosted by one participant’s phone, and nearby devices connect directly over the local network when possible. We do not receive or store those local vote contents on our servers.

3. Relay Voting

If a host enables remote participants, Bestof may use a Cloudflare-hosted relay at r.bestof.app so people on different networks can join the same active vote. The relay is a transport service: it forwards vote packets between the host and participants and issues the shareable join link for that active vote.

The relay may process temporary technical information such as a vote identifier, connection identifiers, a host reconnect token, timing information, and active vote packets needed to deliver the session. It is not designed as long-term storage for ballots or vote history. Relay data expires when the vote ends or times out.

4. Website

When you visit bestof.app, our hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps to deliver the website and keep it secure. Bestof’s website does not create an account for you or sell personal information.

5. Children’s Privacy

Because Bestof does not require accounts or collect personal information from users, it is suitable for users of all ages, including children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and provide the new version on our website or App Store listing.
